THE WHITE COLOUR IN YAMARIN BOATS
The shades of Ashland’s NP 10015 and Reichhold’s NGA 8533 are very close to one another, but the shade of Reichhold is slightly more
yellow. This means that if a boat made with Reichhold gelcoat is repaired with Ashland gelcoat, the repaired area will appear slightly
lighter.

*) approximately means that RAL 9016 is slightly whiter.
(Correspondingly, RAL 9010 has a slightly darker shade of white).

**) Ashland does not have its own colour code for the Cross grey; only the RAL code is used.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
When an old boat is repaired with new gelcoat, it is likely that the repaired area will appear slightly lighter, because all gelcoat surfaces turn yellow in time.
Gelcoat and topcoat are basically the same material, with the difference that a little styrene wax is added to topcoat. Gelcoat is used
for spray painting, and topcoat is used when painting or repairing surfaces by hand.
