The new Yamarin 80 DC T-Top, designed specifically for Mediterranean boating, makes its global debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival. This robust, but elegant T-Top model provides excellent sun protection while maintaining the sleek, sporty design Yamarin is known for.
In addition to the brand new Yamarin 80 DC T-top, Yamarin will showcase the sporty and elegantly Scandinavian Yamarin 88 DC.
Yamarin’s flagship models will be exhibited at the Power Boat Marina, located in Cannes’ Port Canto, on stand POWER010. The Cannes Yachting Festival is open from Tuesday, September 10, to Sunday, September 15.
Exceptional Handling for Large Day Cruisers
The stylish Yamarin 80 DC combines the best of day cruisers and walkaround boats. It features a spacious and practical bow cabin, with safe passage to the front deck and sunbed via a secure side walkway. Inside the bow cabin, there’s a double bed and a comfortable lounge area, with an additional sleeping cabin under the cockpit.
The heart of the boat is the large cockpit, which comfortably seats up to eight people. On the port side, there’s a well-equipped galley with a stove, refrigerator, sink, and plenty of storage.
The largest model in the Yamarin range is the modern, nearly 9-meter-long Yamarin 88 DC, which reaches a top speed of 47 knots with the Yamaha XF450 engine. The ergonomic design of the helm and the driving features satisfy even the most demanding drivers. The boat offers a balanced and stable driving experience even at high speeds and in rough seas.
Yamarin boats are designed for Northern conditions, withstanding the harsh weather of the Atlantic coasts of Norway and the challenging archipelago routes of Finland and Sweden. For international markets, including the Mediterranean, Florida, and Australia, sun protection is also a priority. Making its debut in Cannes is the new T-top version of the Yamarin 80 DC. This robust T-top structure shields the cockpit from the summer sun, while still allowing for a full cockpit canopy when needed.
Advanced Yamarin Q Smart Display Comes as Standard
Both boats come equipped with the versatile Yamarin Q smart display as standard. This intuitive infotainment system, specifically designed for Yamarin boats and Yamaha engines, seamlessly integrates all the driver’s essential tools—from the dashboard to Navionics charts, radio, real-time weather updates, user manuals, and the boat’s electronic control panel.
In the Yamarin 88 DC, the driver's view is dominated by a dual 16" Yamarin Q screen setup, while the smaller 80 DC comes standard with a single 16" Q screen with electronic Navionics charts, with an option to upgrade to dual screens.
Designed for Yamaha Engines
From the early stages of design, Yamarin day cruisers are crafted to work flawlessly with Yamaha outboard motors. In fact, the brand name Yamarin is a fusion of “Yamaha” and “Marine,” symbolizing the perfect integration of the Finnish boat brand with Yamaha’s power sources. Yamarin has been crafting sporty outboard motorboats since 1972.
The Yamarin 88 DC is equipped with Yamaha’s largest engine, the 5.6-liter Yamaha XF450 V8, while the newly launched Yamarin 80 DC is powered by Yamaha’s latest 4.2-liter F350 V6 outboard engine. Both boats benefit from cutting-edge technology, including an electronic remote control and Yamaha’s DES (Digital Electric Steering) system, integrated directly into the engine for enhanced driving comfort.
